In the Tradition

Classical texts call Amalaki Dhatri, the one who nurtures like a mother, and count it among the foremost Rasayana herbs.

It is the main fruit of Chyavanprash and one of the three fruits that make Triphala.

In home hair care, amla has long been soaked, boiled into oils and used in hair washes.

Our Amalaki comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

We prepare it for Triphala, Chyawanprash and our hair care according to the classical protocol for each.
