Classical texts call Bhringraj Keshya, a herb traditionally used for the care of hair, and one of its old names is Keshraj.
Its fresh juice is cooked slowly into sesame or coconut oil to make the Bhringraj tailams used for head massage.
It grows wild near water in most of India and has been part of home hair care for generations.
Our Bhringraj comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.
It is prepared for our hair oils and washes according to its classical protocol.
