In the Tradition

Classical texts list Haridra among the Varnya herbs, traditionally used to support natural complexion, which is why haldi is at the centre of the pre wedding ubtan.

In the kitchen it is a daily spice, and with warm milk it becomes haldi doodh.

Kasturi Haldi, a related root, is the variety traditionally preferred for the face.

Our Haridra comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

It is prepared for our ubtans and formulations according to its classical protocol.

For information only, based on classical Ayurvedic texts. It is not medical advice. Please consult your Vaidya before internal use.
