In the Tradition

Classical texts count Shatavari among the Rasayana herbs and describe it as cooling and nourishing.

Its name is often read as 'one with a hundred roots', after its many tuberous roots.

It is traditionally taken as a churna with warm milk, and it has a special place in Ayurvedic care for women.

Our Shatavari root comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

We prepare it as churna and in our formulations according to its classical protocol.
