In the Tradition

Ushira is one of the most cooling roots in the classical texts.

In Indian summers, khus mats were hung on doors and windows and sprinkled with water to cool the air with its earthy scent.

A few roots soaked in the drinking water matka is an old summer habit.

Our Ushira root comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

It is prepared for our oils according to its classical protocol.
