In the Tradition

Shilajatu means rock-born. It seeps from cliffs high in the Himalaya when the summer sun warms the rock.

Charaka praises it highly, saying there is hardly any condition it cannot support when taken rightly.

Raw shilajit is always purified (shodhan) with herbal decoctions before use.

Our Shilajit comes from the Himalaya.

It is used only after shodhan, purified according to its classical protocol.

For information only, based on classical Ayurvedic texts. It is not medical advice. Please consult your Vaidya before internal use.
